
Mobile store management game
Summary
Done for a 4-day game jam, theme was to demake Starcraft on a mobile platform. The demake focused on the idea of maximizing your actions per second as a management game. Players could rapidly flip between sections of your grocery store in hell to assign their workers onto problems. The objective of the game was to survive as long as possible in the hectic work environment of hell’s grocery store.
Roles + Responsibilities
UI and Character Artist and Game designer.
Created UI mockups and final UI and character art assets. Coordinated with team to design and redesign core mechanics based on the jam’s theme.

Unity, Photoshop, Illustrator
Takeaways
The main takeaway from this jam was the importance of prototyping as early as possible and the importance of team cohesion. Scheduling in shorter projects is crucial but should always afford time for prototyping any new techniques as early as possible and time to run playtests.
